Bar & Food Attendant/guest Services

We are seeking a bar and food attendant and guest services employee to join our team.

This position would be casual, 25-30 hours per week depending on the businesses needs and is perfect for someone looking to save money for their next adventure. We would need this person to stay at least 8 weeks.

Start date: ASAP

This person MUST love customer service, be able to multi-task, be able to work by themselves and as part of a team and must have experience in a similar role.

Being able to step up and handle the pressure of a busy service both individually and as a team is necessary as we can never predict how busy we will be in our country pub so the rostering is based on the "normal trading" for each shift. Sometimes we can get a surprise and be extra busy so someone with the calm temperament to handle this is who we are seeking for the role. A social personality is a must as this person will be on shifts where chatting to our guests is essential (this job would not suit a shy or introverted person). We have a solid reputation as a friendly country pub that provides excellent service, with high quality meals and a great country pub experience, we hope to hire someone for our team who strives to meet this level of service. The position would require you to work nights and weekends so please be prepared for this type of roster.

Must be confident handling money, processing transactions, delivering meals, taking bookings for the hotel & tourist park on our reservations system and may be required to perform opening & closing procedures. Must have a QLD RSA.

Accommodation can be provided in a share house with other employees. Please note the hotel is 42kms from the closest shops, so if you have your own car that is great, otherwise there is a bus that you can catch to Miles or you can request a lift from other staff or local customers.
